25.6.12 - 66185 6E68 New Cumnock - Drax, Garsdale

Was this worth a savage midge attack? Probably not. However, this is one of the regular S&C freight workings which can only be photographed during the long Summer months, and there aren't too many locations where you can get the sun at a decent angle. DBS 66185 rolls into Garsdale with 6E68 New Cumnock - Drax, which was one of three southbound coal trains to pass within a 1 hour period, but the midges were so bad I had to watch the other 2 from the car!
