With the forecast much brighter in the east than in the west I took a few trips over to Teesside in late 2009. Although the area has changed massivley since those inspiring shots of double-headed 37s on steel were avaialble, there are still many opportunities for freight in industrial settings. Perhaps it's the contrast with the scenery of the S&C but this area and it's industry has always fascinated me. Under clear skies and bright conditions FHH loco 66509 works past Shell Junction with 6F32 Boulby - Middlesbrough Goods rock salt working.
