2.3.13 - 56094 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk, Great Strickland - West Coast Main Line (north to south)
Another Saturday and another 56 on the logs. This is becoming a semi-regular event and on the occasions it's happened we've been pretty lucky with the weather. I hadn't previously shot a grid on the logs at Great Strickland and so this was the obvious location today. Making a superb noise the heritage loco climbs through Great Strickland with 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk under increasingly cloudy Eden Valley skies.
