21.4.10 66101 6S00 Clitheroe - Mossend, Ribblehead Viaduct

When I awoke this morning and saw the clarity of the light I was already thinking about getting this shot. I'd been waiting for just the right conditions to attempt it again after being done by misty conditions and cloud on 2 occasions last year. This time everything came together, although I did have a last minute dash down to Horton and back because I had a feeling that a large bank of cloud would once again defeat me. In the event the sun found a large gap and illuminated Ribblehead viaduct in clear Spring sunshine just at the right time as 66101 worked north with 6S00 Clitheroe - Mossend loaded Castle Cement tanks.
