14.4.10 66107 6M00 Mossend - Clitheroe, Soulby Road Bridge

A cracking start to an amazing day. I wanted to try a new location for the first freight of the day. Having photographed 6M00 at Smardale a few times I've looked across at the bridge near Soulby on the horizon and always thought that there are possibilities for a decent shot at that time of the day, the line is running south easterly so is well positioned for the sun and recent tree felling has opened up the embankment. So this was my first attempt at the 'Soulby Road Bridge' shot. 66107 is seen heading south under Soulby Rd bridge with 6S00 Mossend - Clitheroe cement empties on a glorious Spring morning in the Eden Valley.
