13.8.13 - 37405 & 37419 1Q13 Carnforth - Carlisle, Waitby

Rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated! It's just that I'm not a fan of shots in high summer. However, two former west highland favourites operating over the S&C today with a radio test train were enough to break my summer sojourn from all things photograhy. It's been well over 3 months since I last pressed the shutter, so long in fact that I'd forgotten all the login details for my site! I think it was worth the effort for a record shot, especially since I got the sun which was by no means a certain thing. Now under DRS ownership 37405 (formerly named 'Strathclyde Region') and 37419 work in top and tail formation through Waitby with 1Q13 Carnforth - Carlisle via Blackpool with a radio test train.
