11.12.13 - 90036 6M02 Shieldmuir - Warrington, Beckfoot - West Coast Main Line (north to south)
The main target today was the seasonal additional mail service which this year is in the hands of DBS 90s and interesting cargo wagons instead of the loco hauled 325 EMUs we've seen in previous years. I don't think we've seen better than the 86/7s of a few years ago but this is certainly an improvement on the 67s last year. 90036 dashes south bang on time at Beckfoot with 6M02 Shieldmuir - Warrington extra mail service. Once again this location proves a really good option for early southbound services in winter. This picture was published in Railways Illustrated in early 2014.
