27.6.07 - 60091 6M46 Redcar - Hardendale, Great Strickland

A favourite with photographers at the time on account of the usual class 60 traction and the afternoon timings was 6M46 Redcar - Hardendale empty lime hoppers. In fact, it was always a pipe dream of mine to follow this diagram across the country to see how many decent shots you could get. I was planning this when there was a celebrity engine allocated but by the time that happened on a decent day Brush traction was no longer regular. Seen here climbing through Great Strickland under glorious Summer skies 60091 looks the part as she appraoches her destiantion at Hardendale.
