JL - 5.3.25 60002 6E77 Arcow - Hunslet, Ribblehead Viaduct North

For the last 3 days I'd been staring out of a meeting room window in city centre Manchester at the bright sunshine wondering what I might be missing. An early finish on Weds provided a chance to get something on my way back north. Realistically it would be a one train move and with 60002 working off Arcow early evening the decision was made. It made sense to play the percentages and head somewhere where I know the angles, lay of the line and have the greatest experience.
I wnet to Horton first to check it was there then got set up at Selside for a first shot, before overtaking and filling my boots up at Ribblehead. This would be about the first time of year the sun would work for this early evening working, assuming an on time departure and cloud free western skies. In the end everything worked and I was treated to several shots of 60002 on 6E77 Arcow - Hunslet in beautiful evening light. Nice to have scratched that itch!
