JL - 14.10.24 68018 6K05 Carlisle Yrad - Crewe, Dilicar Common

Probably the best shot of a stunning Autumn day in Cumbria. The day was exactly as forecasted with long spells of bright sunshine and I was at the desk from 06:00 to ensure I could get out in the afternoon. This was a day that produced 4 classes from 3 different hauliers on 7 different freight workings captured on either the S&C or WCML. My second shot of 68018 'Vigilant' on 6K05 Carlisle - Crewe was taken at one of the finest locations on the UK network IMHO, Dillicar Common which looks good at any time of year but especially nice in Autumn.
