JL - 31.7.24 66301 4N61 Drax - Tyne Coal (via SC), Carlisle Yard

As part of the 50th anniversary of Drax power station haulier GBRf have re-liveried 66301 in a special gold colour along with one biomass hopper wagon. It's first biomass working off Drax was a specially routed 4N61 Drax - Tyne Coal via the S&C and Tyne Valley with press phot stops at Ribblehead viaduct and Dent station. To avoid the crowds and the hazy atmosphere in the hills and to maximise the potential of the light I left my shot for the furthest point north and the latest possible minute. Seen in Carlisle Yard, prior to running around the unique loco, wagon and diagram gleam in the clear evening light.
