JL - 22.6.24 66783 6N23 Lynemouth PS - Tyne Dock, Bedlington south

I had made a last minute decision on this sunny Saturday night to miss a Euro 2024 match and head up to the Blyth & Tyne network to catch the final biomass train of the day. I was aiming to get a number of shots around the power station of GBRf's celebrity 66783 on 6N23 Lynemouth PS - Tyne Dock. However, a very early departure ended my initial aims. The fallback plan was to grab some shots around Bedlington where currently these biomass diagrams are reversing and taking the line to Morpeth and from there down to Newcastle. Cautiously approaching the signal adjacent to Bedlington sidings 'The Flying Dustman' in bright red Biffa livery looks the business in the late evening light. Despite the change of plans I was pleased to have made the effort for this shot.
