JL - 16.3.24 60026 6N85 Lynemouth - Tyne Dock, Woodhorn South

Calm and bright conditions were forecast in the North East for this Spring Saturday however high cloud was expected by lunchtime. With the cloud advancing from the south west, I once again headed for the Blyth & Tyne where everyone's favourite Tug, GBRF's 60026 had worked into Lynemouth early. This meant it would leave in either the 9am or 10am path south and several shots would be possible before it reached Tyne Dock. To kick off with I headed for Lynemouth where I could try a few shots from the east as 6N85 drew forward to the Lynemouth starter signal. From there it was a quick dash around to Woodhorn to attempt a shot either side of the bridge. The second Woodhorn shot had the light was at an ideal angle and the power station point of origin rising over the trees. A local raven squeezes in on the act.
