JL - 4.3.24 60085 6N87 Lynemouth - Tyne Dock Lynemouth South

I'd had a full day with freshly outshopped 60085 on the Blyth & Tyne. Having bagged the loaded inbound 6N86 there was time to kill whilst it unloaded and ran around. I grabbed some lunch and a quick haircut in Ashington before returning to the power station for several shots, followed by a grab shot at Woodhorn, before finally heading for Bedlington Viaduct with plenty of time to spare. In gently warming Spring sunshine the immaculate Brush machine shows off its classic lines whilst departing the northernmost outpost of this fascinating part of the network which will soon see the return of passenger services.
