JL - 18.1.23 66793 6M28 Rylstone - Leyland, Newsholme

A cracking way to start the a new photting year! The weather so far in 2023 has, for the most part, been awful. Finally in the 3rd week of January high pressure dominated and with the winds directly from the north clear cold skies replaced constant rain. This cold snap happened to coincide with a brand new freight flow for the S&C and wouldn't you know a celeb GBRf shed was turned out for the inaugural run. Sometimes things really do come together! In stunning Winter conditions 66793 in Roundel designed rail freight triple grey 'Construction' subsector livery leads the very first run of 6M28 Rylstone - Leyland loaded stone south through Newsholme after a long stop at Hellifield. Great to grab another shot after bagging this working earlier at Ribblehead.
