JL - 23.1.17 37608 & 37604 1Q05 Derby RTC- Tees Yard, Freemans Bridge

I was heading over to Teesside but when I was reminded about the Network Rail test train heading out to Blyth and back down the Durham coast I decided on a last minute change of plan. Too late to grab a shot of the northbound working on the ECML I headed straight up to Freemans. At that stage I didn't know the lead loco would be anything special but the gathered gallery on the overbridge suggested something unusual would be leading. The fresh out the box ex-works Europheonix 37608 'Andromeda' slows for the adverse signal at Freemans whilst leading 1Q05 Derby R.T.C. - Tees Yard. As the understanding driver stopped at this position a couple of shots was possible.
