Having made the dash across from Burton Salmon I arrived at Tommy Halls Barn just as 60011 was expected at Settle Junction on 6E97 Kirkby Thore - Tees Dock. With no time to spare I parked by the road and run down to the quiet overbridge. Luckily the Morecambe - Leeds was running late so the empty gypsum must have been held at the junction. This gave me a little more time to compose the shot before Tug 11 crawled around the curve in beauty clear and bright winter conditions. News from further north was that the gallery had been done at Ribblehead.
