JL - 6.2.25 801217 1E17 13:30 Edinburgh - KX, King Edward Bridge

Blocked! I was set up for a nice shot of GBRf’s 60047 with 6N87 on King Edward Bridge, Newcastle when 801217 was signalled forward from the station at exactly the same time. The tow workings were parallel across the first half of the bridge but then the LNER Azuma overtook. The best laid plans!
