JL - 6.2.25 66151 6V33 Sunderland Ward Bros - Cardiff Tidal

Up and out before sunrise this morning to make the most of the cloudless winter day. Although there was a couple of interesting workings in Cumbria. Including a class 60 into Ribblehead and a rare fright along the Furness line. I decided to head to the north east where plenty of interesting freight attraction was on offer. I was targeting the Sunderland scrap train, the Hartlepool docs working, and GBRf class 60s working off Tyne dock. For the first shot of the day, I headed to Ward Bros sidings in Sunderland. Shortly after sunrise a work worn 66151 is captured preparing 6V33 Sunderland Ward Bros - Cardiff Tidal scrap metal diagram. This is my second visit to this spot which offers heavily industrial scene on this lesser photographed freight branch.
