JL - 6.2.25 60047 6N87 Lynemouth PS - Tyne Dock CT, Bedlington Viaduct

Such a wonderful Blyth & Tyne location. One of my favourites. As is my usual approach I’d seen 60047 leave Lynemouth with 6N87 biomass empties for Tyne Dock, before grabbing another shot at Woodhorn and then driving south to Bedlington for a 3rd shot with plenty of time to spare. The last remaining GBRf 60 in ex-Colas colours rumbles across Bedlington viaduct in glorious winter sunshine. A few seconds later the new Northern passenger service passed in the other direction. A total change having to think about potential blockers on this line!
