JL - 3.12.24 66306 6A66 Tytherington - Quainton, Gerrards Cross

Another trip down south for work brought another chance to have a go at the Chiltern route stone workings which head over Saunderton and take the Aylesbury line at Princess Risborough to reach the Quainton railhead. Unfortunately today there was no DCR worked southbound mid morning but the daily GBRf inbound from Tytherington did appear bang on time. Drax anniversary Gold liveried 66301 was leading with sister loco 66306 bringing up the rear. Seen attacking the climb toward Gerrards Cross 6A66 is making steady progress whilst bathed in lovely winter sunshine.
