Just as the evening light reached its zenith, the working that had attracted me over the WCML this evening appeared looking fantastic as it forged north. GBRf's 66302 rumbles past Pitstone between Tring and Cheddington with 6M51 Dollands Moor - Daventry. This was the last of 7 northbound freights in the last 1.5 hours with around as many heading south. After this it was a short drive to the Angler's Rest for a cooling pint of cider in the beer garden as I contemplated a worthwhile trip over from my hotel.
