An added bonus for this Saturday. 2 ex-Anglia 90s, now once again plying their trade on the route they were originally designed for. Still in their Greater Anglia colours 90008 'The East Anglian' and 90007 'Sir John Betjemen' glide south through Elmsfield in stunning February afternoon light with 4M83 Coatbridge - Crewe Basford Hall 'liner. I had intended to shoot this further north at Great Strickland and I had also waited at Eden Valley loop for a sign of sun but with no cloud breaks I was forced further south. In the end I was very happy with the result apart from an intrusive branch that I could do little about.
