JL - 26.7.24 90015 & 90011 4M80 Coatbridge - Basford Hall, Lowgill

It had been a dry but dull Summer Friday in what, so far, has been a poor Summer weather-wise. However, as can sometimes be the case the clouds cleared providing a few hours of sunshine before sunset. With Freightliner 90s heading south and after stressful day at the desk it was a no brainer to make the short trip to the WCML. In golden light, and with a superb Howgill backdrop, West Coast stalwarts 90015 and 90011 appeared at just the right time with 4M80 Coatbridge - Basford Hall which was very helpfully loaded up to the locos on this occasion. It's taken many trips, and there's been plenty of bad luck but I've finally bagged 90s at this spot.
