JL - 26.3.18 67005 & 67006 Prince Charles's Royal Train, Langwathby

My first ever picture of the Royal Train. Prince Charles had several engagements in Cumbria today and I'd received some gen that the Royal Train would work onto the S&C to Langwathby via the WCML. Of course, RTT doesn't report this working and the signal diagrams were intermittent so it was a case of working on pieces of intel rather than anything concrete. 67005 'The Queen's Messenger' with 67006 on the rear, approaches Langwathby with Prince Charles on board, ready to alight for his first engagement.
I was hopeful the ECS would then head to Appleby to cross over to the down line, but they must have used one of the cross overs at Culgaith or Kirkby Thore before quickly returning to Carlisle and back to Wolverton via WCML.
