It's not the S&C and it's not the cement, but it'll do for a change! With the nuclear flask services currently diverted over Shap to Carlisle and then round the Cumbrian coast route I took the opportunity to get out early and capture this rare situation. The 6C53 Crewe - Sellafield diagram was in the hands of 37603 and 37602 this morning and thankfully it was a substantial load of 6 flasks. The attractive working is seen passing Beck Foot in early morning light.
