The LSL Director's Train worked through the county today. Starting out from North Wales it worked to Carlisle behind newly outshopped 57002 in LNWR lined black livery before giving way to both LSL's Scotrail 37s which worked Tyne Valley to Newcastle and north via ECML. I had a lot of non-railway duties today so just nipped across to Lambrigg to grab a single shot of 5Z37 Oxenholme - Carlisle Upperby (officially ECS on this stretch for some reason). The new black livery looks well set against the blooming gorse.
