A quick dash out tonight to see a former West Coast racer LMS 'Pacific' No. 6201 'Princess Elizabeth'. With the easterly wind fairly strong I opted for a spot where it's impact on the exhaust would be most negated. She's seen stroming through Shap Wells as the shadows encroach on the scene with the Northern Belle from Carlisle - Preston.
