JL - 19.6.24 66798 6C00 Clitheroe - Carlisle NY, Smardale Viaduct

As usual through the Summer I'm not taking many shots, a combination of other interests taking priority and poor conditions early and late in the day have been the drivers. However I was tempted out late in the day on 19th June to grab a shot of 66798 crossing Smardale viaduct with an on time 6C00 Clitheroe - Carlisle NY loaded cement tanks. The light had unfortunately faded until the working had appeared just below the horizon at which point full sun returned and illuminated the stunning viaduct, highest on the S&C, which spans the tranquil Scandal Beck.
