JL - 19.12.24 88009 88006 4S43 Daventry - Coatbridge, Docker Viaduct

The first day of my 2024 Christmas break very fortunately coincided with a break from the cold and grey conditions. A brisk overnight northerly brought clear and bright conditions across the north and heading out I was spoiled for choice. With a GBRf celeb on the inbound Arcow, a 60 up the Rylstone branch and the Northern Belle running over the LNW I headed for this quiet corner of Yorkshire for a leisurely days photting. Before all that, and as part of my drive south, I stopped in at Docker viaduct to catch DRS pair 88009 & 88006 forging north with the well loaded 4S43 Daventry - Coatbridge. A lovely way to kick off what was to turn into a fantastic day.
