Work has kept me away from the lineside since early Jan and sadly I'd missed all the recent excitement of my favourite Tug 60026 in S&C sun and snow. Finally this Sat I had some time to myself, it was cloudy and misty in Cumbria but a full sun forecast in the North East so I headed in that direction. There are very few places where a railfan can see 4 working 60s in one day, Tyne Dock offers that opportunity so I headed up to South Tyneside to capture Brush veterans working off Tyne Dock. Glowing on the low winter light, 60056 sits amongst the Tyneside industry having worked in with 6N85 from Lynemouth.
