JL - 16.9.24 70804 Carlisle - Chirk, Blea Moor Loop

Given that it was running late I hadn't anticipated that 70804 would be allowed to leave Carlisle with 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk logs ahead of the mid afternoon passenger. It did however and this allowed for 3 shots of this ever-popular S&C regular. First at Arten Gill, then one in the loop at Blea Moor with a final shot on Ribblehead viaduct. Today was one of those fantastic days when everything planned worked out. Very rare indeed.
