JL - 16.9.24 66756 4N03 Carlisle - Clitheroe, Garsdale Troughs - Latest shots
The first shot of what was to become probably my most successful day's S&C photography. With cement, logs, engineers and stone, there was plenty of traffic around. A veteran loco and wall to wall Autumnal sunshine made the day that bit more special. GBRf's 66756 cruises through Garsdale with 4N03 Carlisle - Clitheroe empty cement tanks. Although I had it in mind I didn't appreciate at this stage I would later capture the northbound return diagram in an epic scene on Ribblehead viaduct. A rare day indeed to bag both cement workings in one day.
