With the S&C blocked for several weeks to deal with a huge landslip in the Eden Gorge at Baron Wood all would be S&C workings are diverted via alternate routes. Including this unusual Settle - Carlisle Yard engineers diagram. I don't know if this was connected with the worksite at Baron Wood but it was a welcome addition to the WCML freights this morning. Seen rounding the curve at Beckfoot FHH 66548 forges north through the freezing morning air. DRS liveried 66421 was on the rear.
