JL - 15.3.25 66569 6E97 Kirkby Thore - Stourton, Waitby Common

For the 2nd Saturday in succession 6E97 ran in it's south path. Instead of heading north to Carlisle Yard it works south to Leeds and even rarer for also the second Sat in succession the sun shone! I'd been over to see a couple of early morning WCML freights including a diverted flasks and then dropped in at Waitby Common in case this made an appearance. Running more or less on time 66569 leads the GBRf boxes forming 6E97 Kirkby Thore - Stourton gypsum empties. After this it was bacon butties at home and then the whole family down to Bolton and Wigan to see Mum and Dad then to see Hull FC's awesome upset v Wiagn in the Challenge Cup (22-26). Old Faithfull!!!
