As is usual for a Monday the NR NMT worked south over the S&C having taken a circuitous route from Derby up to Heaton the day before. With all the reversals it took some working out to establish which end the ex-LNER power car would be at. Seen approach the TSR at Dent 43299 & 43063 'John Armitt' work south on a beautifully clear Spring afternoon forming 1Q36 Heaton - Derby.
