JL - 1.2.19 66302 6K05 Carlisle - Crewe, Wallace Field

Patience paid off today with this attractive shot of 6K05 Carlisle - Crewe engineers at Wallace Field. I had been forced north by clouds further south, the edge of the cloud line seemed to be north of Armathwaite so I waited patiently for something to leave Carlisle Yard. The cement was late and I was hopeful it would set off however that was eventually cancelled. The logs was pathed WCML so K05 became the main S&C target for the day. When it appeared 5 loaded auto-ballaster hoppers were the ideal consist for my chosen location. 66302 forges south through the frozen Cumbrian landscape.
