Beauty and the beast. I had carefully considered which location I would most like to photograph the logs. With the skies so clear I had my pick of any location on the line so I opted to risk the considerable anger of the landowner and head up 'heart attack hill' to Arten Gill. However, given that a Colas 70 had worked north with the usual 60 at the weekend it was at the back of my mind that a double header or perhaps a lone 70 would turn up. This turned out to be the case as disappointingly 70805 rounded the corner at Dent and set out towards Blea Moor. The unattractive loco crosses Arten Gill in glorious Autumnal sunshine with 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk logs.
