JL - 25.5.24 20905 & 20901 6J09 Oxenholme - Shap Harrisons, Shap N

Something I'd had pencilled in for a week or two was the appearance of Balfour Beatty's immaculate class 20s in Cumbria. Employed around Shap on drain train duties, 6J09 had worked up to Harrisons from Oxenholme sidings at around 3am and by 7am was busy shuttling between Shap village and Harrsions on the down line. I was keen to get a few shots in the bag before 8ish when the light was good and whilst we had some attractive cloudscapes. Seen at several spots in this area these heritage locos looked and sounded fantastic.
