4.3.10 - 66843 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk, Docker - West Coast Main Line (north to south)
For a very short spell when haulage of the Kielder timber train from Carlisle swicth to Colas haulage, following the class 57s welcome monopoly of the diagram, the flow was still routed via the WCML. Now looking back at this shot after the diagram as ran via S&C metals for a significant period of time this shot seems quite rare because it was not long after Colas 66s took over that the diagram was routed via Ais Gill rather than Shap. On the only occasion (so far) that I've photographed a Colas 66 on the WCML 66843 is seen forging south at Docker with 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk.
