4.11.13 - 37605 & 37259 6K05 Carlisle - Crewe, Yanwath

What a turn up! The last of 3 southbound freights to pass Yanwath within a 20min spell was a very welcome surprise. Earlier the gen was that 6K05 hadn't been allocated a locomotive and might not have been a runner however if it did get on the move then there wouldn't be any DRS 66s to handle the diagram. This suggested that something a little out of the ordinary may turn up and this turned out to be the case as well before they hoved into view you could hear that at least one 37 was in charge of the Carlisle - Crewe engineers working today. DRS pair 37605 & 37259 power through Yanwath with a rake of autoballasters. Then the chase was on for more shots further south!
