30.1.12 - 66425 4M44 Mossend - Daventry, Docker - West Coast Main Line (north to south)
The forecast was clear and cold from about mid morning and the early cloud was to clear from the east. Well, as ever in Cumbria the forecast went out of the window and you had to play it by ear. The best chance of light seemed to be around Docker at lunchtime and so I headed there for 4M44 hoping for the dred in the one-off Malcolms livery. However, 66245 turned up bang on time with the regular intermodal working from Mossend to Daventry.
