29.9.13 - 390135 1S69 13.28 Euston - Glasgow, Salterwath - West Coast Main Line (north to south)
After a shot of the usual Sunday S&C southbound coal at Crosby Garrett I ventured away from the stamping ground further west to the climb to Shap for the expected grid hauled empty logs. The light was good and the air clear and clear. The empty logs were helded further south to allow the passage of two Virgin expresses. One of which was 1S69, the 13.28 Euston - Glasgow formed of 390135, seen tearing up the 1:75 through Salterwath the Pendo presents a pleasing image.
