22.2.10 - 57002 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk, Great Strickland - West Coast Main Line (north to south)
For a very short period in late 2009 / early 2010, prior to Colas taking over this diagram, 6J37 gained a third variety of locomotive as haulage, DRS 57/0s, which were part of the original batch of 57s converted by Freightliner to work container trains from the south coast port of Southampton. With snow falling over the Pennines to the east, 57002 climbs through a freezing Great Strickland with the Carlisle - Chirk log working, by this time this loco had gained a body-side Colas sticker prior to haulage by Colas owned (rather than hired) engines. This shot was used in Big Freight - The Book, published in July 2010 by Videoscene.
