A magnificient loco with a great track record over the S&C, BR 8P Pacific No. 71000 Duke of Gloucester' storms upgrade through Horton with a UK Railtours Cumbrian Mountain Express special for Carlisle. The tour had originated at Kings Cross and was steam hauled from York to Carlisle. As I write this the working will be 1 hour into it's return to London via the Tyne Valley route.
