Very pleased with this! Appearing out of the gloom in atmospheric conditions LMS 'Scot' No. 46115 'Scots Gaurdsman' blasts through Salterwath with a 1Z86 Euston - Carlisle excrusion recalling steam days on Shap. It was almost unbelievable that following a morning of low cloud and drizzle we got a very brief spell of weak sunshine just as this working climbed north.The tour returned via the more tranquil surroundings of the Cumbrian coast.
